    Ms Keyla Martinez, Director

As Mi Casita Director I wish you a very warm welcome to Our Preschool! We are in the Downtown Austin/Clarksville area.  Since 2016 we dedicated to provide a high quality, bilingual education to all students we serve, the idea for Mi Casita Montessori was born when we realized a need for providing a learning environment that provided both a Montessori and a bilingual education for young children.

    What is Montessori?

    107613

The Montessori Method, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, is a child-centered approach based on observations of the young child. The approach has been tested over time, with over 100 years of success in diverse cultures throughout the world.

The method views the child as naturally eager for knowledge and, more importantly, capable of learning in a supportive, thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It is an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the whole child—physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.

Montessori communities  nurtures the world awareness in the classroom as we demonstrate the natural passages from local to global. Concrete and immediate needs of the community can cultivate a universal human understanding that awakens the highest respect for all life on earth

    Mission

It is our goal to provide a loving, diverse, bilingual, educational environment for young children built on a foundation of compassion, gratitude and service.
