What ages do you accept?

We accept children from 2 months to 6 years old at both of our locations.

What are your tuition rates?

Tuition varies depending on the schedule you choose for your child. Please refer to our attached tuition PDF for detailed pricing and program options.

What are your hours?

Our hours of operation are 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

Do you have openings now?

Availability changes throughout the year. Please contact us directly to ask about current openings and wait list options.

What is Montessori?

Montessori is a child-centered educational approach that encourages independence, hands-on learning,
concentration, and respect for each child’s natural development.

Do you provide meals?

We do not provide lunch meals. We ask families to pack their child’s snack/lunch for the midday meal between 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM.

We do provide one morning snack, and we also provide an afternoon snack for our after-school program.

How do you handle naps for infants?

We follow each infant’s individual feeding and nap schedule to provide personalized care and comfort throughout the day.

What makes your school different?

What makes our school special is that we are a Spanish immersion school, giving children the opportunity to learn in a bilingual environment.
We are also a small school, which allows us to give each child more personal attention compared to larger corporate centers.
Most importantly, we are an authentic Montessori school focused on education and child development—not just daycare. We prioritize helping children learn, grow, and succeed. If a child needs extra support, we communicate with families so each child receives the best experience possible.

When can my child start?

If we currently have space available, your child may be able to start as soon as possible once you complete our enrollment process. This includes submitting the required paperwork, enrollment forms, and any additional documents needed. Our team will guide you through each step and let you know the earliest available start date based on classroom availability.

How can I schedule my Tour?

You can schedule a tour by emailing Admin@micasitaaustin.com or by calling us directly at (512) 614-0021. Once you reach out, we will provide you with the next available tour dates and times.

We prefer to schedule tours in the morning between 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM, as this is during the children’s work cycle. This gives families the opportunity to see how focused the children are, observe the classroom environment, and experience everything they are learning.

If those times do not work for you, we are happy to accommodate other scheduling needs whenever possible. Just reach out, and we will work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.

Can I start in the middle of the year ?

Yes, if we have availability you can start in the middle of the year.

What is our enrollment process?

1. Schedule a Visit
Meet our team, tour the classrooms, and learn about our Montessori approach.

2. Submit an Application
Complete the online application form and pay a $150 non-refundable application fee per child. This secures your place in the waiting pool.

3. Stay Connected
Families in the waiting pool receive updates regarding space availability and upcoming events.

4. Enrollment Offer
When a space becomes available, you will receive an enrollment contract along with start date details.

5. Secure Your Spot
Sign the contract and submit a $600 non-refundable enrollment deposit to confirm your child’s placement.
