Our Mi Casita Montessori community came together for a special morning in celebration of the International Day of Peace. With flowers, tea, songs, and time together, the children experienced what peace can look and feel like in their own community.
Peace is an important part of Montessori education. Through the Grace and Courtesy lessons we practice each day, children learn to greet one another, care for their environment, listen, and show kindness and respect. These may seem like small gestures, but they matter.
We are grateful to the children, families, and guides who shared this morning with us. It was a lovely reminder that peace begins with the way we care for one another every day. 🤍
